The Inevitable Downfall of Kat Sri

 Monday, April 2nd - 10 A.M.
A gloomy day in the Smoky Mountains.  A murder has just transpired, presumably 8:47 P.M. April 1st. - Not sure if this occurred due to an April Fool's day prank, vengeance, or what have you. Blood overflow on and around victim's left temple and right hip.  A mysterious friend of the victim discovered the body this morning and called our office.  She appears disgruntled and choleric. Says she came upon the body this morning on her way to her glamorous makeup studio. -I'll keep investigating.
Monday, April 2nd - 11:01 A.M.  Exposed! Wood - handled metallic knife found amongst the oak logs! Unquestionably a murder weapon.

Monday, April 2nd - 11:31 A.M.
DNA analysis shows that the fingerprints found on the knife handle do not belong to the victim's friend; (rules out our first suspect.) However, we also found a shovel with a lot of the victim's blood splattered on it.

Monday, April 2nd - 12:06 P.M.    I fled from the scene to find the DNA results from the shovel. An odd find; although the previous suspect's fingerprints weren't found on the knife handle, she had some fingerprints on the shovel; (a second murder weapon!) When I arrived back on the scene I went to question the suspect about the new found results when I suddenly spotted two bright red areas on the suspect that made my suspicions rise. One drop of blood on her trendy sweater, and one large stain on the bottom of her sleek, noir gladiators! As I was about comment on this she attempted to flee the scene! I caught her just in time to see her true disposition, a bloody bad one!
The Conclusion:
After arresting the suspect, she opened up and admitted to the brutal murder of the victim; (identified as Serenia Gore.)  This whole homicide was due to a petty girl fight over the noir gladiators! The girls had a history. Back in grade school the girls were best friends but always sizing each other up over clothes, academic awards, and social rank.  They opened up a fabulous beauty salon together called Pep Surreal after college and used to go shopping together all of the time.  Last week they went shopping at rack room and fought a few moments over these black gladiators before Serenia decided to purchase them.  Her friend's name, (the murderer) is Kat Sri. She secretly wanted these shoes for L.A. fashion week and made plots to get them in the end.  Last night as Serenia was strolling back to her house from Central Park Kat jumped her and got the shoes.  As her attack progressed, all of the tensions that existed between them welled up inside of her and she slashed her best friend, Serenia's head in with a 12" wood - handled knife.  Serenia fell to the ground but Kat wasn't finished yet! She made a last minute slash at Serenia's hip and ran.  To seem innocent Kat appeared at the murder scene this morning and reported  it.
Some human - beings are weak and fall. Kat Sri fell due to intense jealousy, shameless rage, and a lack of self confidence.  A sad story that ended, shall we say, plummeting.

Katey Smith as Kat Sri
&
Anita Dar as Lead Investigator
Hope you enjoyed the story! Got any cool story ideas?? Please comment them!!

Cancer... A Serious Matter

SLOW DANCE

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"Hi"
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift..
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.
Dear All:

PLEASE pass this mail on to everyone you know
even to those you don't know! It is the request of a special girl who will soon leave this world due to cancer.

This young girl has 6 months left to live, and as her dying wish, she wanted to send a letter telling everyone to live their life to the fullest, since she never will. She'll never make it to prom, graduate from high school, or get married and have a family of her own.

By you sending this to as many people as possible, you can give her and her family a little hope, because with every name that this is sent to, The American Cancer Society will donate 3 cents per name to her treatment and recovery plan. One guy sent this to 500 people! So I know that we can at least send it to 5 or 6. It's not even your money, just your time!

PLEASE PASS ON AS A LAST REQUEST.

So, as you just read; this is a poem written by a very special little girl living with cancer. PLEASE forward to as many people as possible. Facebook Page

I'm sure that all of you are aware of the brutality and heartache that cancer causes in every one of us. We all know someone living with cancer; whether it be a person living in our community, ourselves, or a loved one. If you are facing challenges with this dreadful disease just know that there are plenty of organizations, caring people, and communities fully willing to provide you with hope, care, and love.
I myself suffer with sadness caused by cancer. I understand how those of you with cases similar to mine feel. You see, my father; John has a, (so far,) incurable type of cancer. He has non hotchkins lymphoma. He first got it ten years ago and managed to defeat it. That was, until about four years later when it came back. He went through a stem cell transplant and defeated it again and was as lively as ever until this year... It's hard dealing with the thought of my amazing, strong father suffering through all of this pain but I know that he will make it through the tough times and I keep hope that we will one day find a cure.
Church groups are extremely helpful when it comes to these matters of the heart. My father is on our church's prayer list and I really believe that it makes a substantial difference.  Every time my father's cancer comes back I pray for him everynight until it's gone.  Want an easy way to gather prayers for yourself or a loved one? Try this website: World Prayer Group
There are lots of fun, influential programs that you can join to show your support for cancer. The best one I've ever participated in was Relay For Life. They do tons of fundraising for cancer research and every one has a blast! Want more information about this program? check out www.relayforlife.org

So I hope that this information helped out those of you in need! Just remember together we can conquer and accomplish anything.                 "Keep on keepin' on!"  :D

The Story of the Bald Frog, Alfred

So after updating my profile I got asked this random question:
Can you write this story? The children want to hear a story, quickly; tell them the story of the bald frog and the wig
I decided to accept the challenge and wrote this whole story before blogger told me it was too long to fit on my profile. So, why waste a good story???

Well children, once upon a midnight dreary their was a vain frog named Alfred.  He lived on Darguzas Falls amidst hundreds of ugly toads. One day all of the grotesque toads grew agrivated by Alfred's vainness and decided to get back at him. The elder toad, Minu, came up with a plan.
After a long day of swimming on the waterfall Alfred was surprized to see a fair young frog fairy coming towards him. He asked her; "Do you have a band - aid cause i just got hit by an angel that fell from the sky?" She replied, "haha... no, sorry." She then went on to say; "You know you may shock more ladies if you grow out some hair." He was offended but tried to hide it saying, "Haha fine, even though I already know I look delicious i'll keep your suggestion in mind."

At this the fairy replied; "Oh wait no longer, i'll give you a wig with long, golden, lustrous locks to try on." He complied to this plan and the wig appeared to be just as glorious as she said it would.  He lifted it up and placed it on his slick head.  BOOM - BOOM - POW! The wig stuck to his head and the locks shined with brilliance.

~The only problem???
The fairy was part of Minu's plan to sabotage Alfred's ego. As soon as he put on the majestic wig he turned into a bigger, fatter toad than all of the rest! And like the fairy promised, Alfred did shock more ladies than before...

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak ~Book Review!

The Book Thief...
A novel narrarated by the one and only; Death.  This story is set in the small town; Molching, Germany during WW2. Death tells the story of young Liesel, (a girl left at the home of Hans and Rose Huberman by her mother before her mother was threatened by the Nazis.) and her stuggles growing up in Nazi Germany. No, she's not a jew or a communist, (or even a Nazi enthusiast,) as you might conclude. She is just a young, benign thief trying to discover what should be justified in life.
Upon her younger brother dying on the train to Molching the discouraged Liesel steals a book left by the grave diggers.  This is the begining of the book thief's stealing chronicle. Much more stealing occurs and with it comes added knowledge for Liesel in the stories she reads.  In her new life she builds an acquaintance with Rosa and an ever - lasting bond with her new father, Hans.
Filled with reading, stealing, soccer, accordian music, chores, bombing, new perspective, Nazis, friendships, hardship,a few stunning twists, and new beginings; Liesel's life story is harrowing, yet enlightening at the same time. Skillfully written by Markus Zusak; this is a momentous read for everyone, especially those interested in Holocaust reading.
